At the behest. . .

. . .of several people, I finally watched Napoleon Dynamite a couple of weeks ago, and ended up buying a "pre-viewed" copy. It's a classic as far as I'm concerned. I think Napoleon Dynamite succeeds for one big reason that may have been better put by people who have reviewed it before -- that Napoleon is essentially an overt expression of what a great number of people feel covertly. I think we all crave Napoleon's moment on stage in some context, and to some degree.
