Phil is a longtime poster at Lucianne, and always has an interesting take on cultural matters. He has a tendency to eschew partisan politics and the overtly ideological, while giving insightful commentary on things ranging from the influence of marketing in separating a fool from his money where bicycle parts are concerned, to pitfalls and blessings of empty nest syndrome.
